Charlotte Miller Producer, Playwright & “Jackie” A Moment of Silence for the Living, “Rebecca” Breaking Up With My Mother
Charlotte is a Brooklyn-based playwright and actor and co-founder of Longstocking Productions. She has lived here since 2001 when she moved from her native Texas to attend the American Academy of Dramatic arts. She has authored five plays including Bunny & Honey, Joan’s Boutique, A Moment of Silence for the Living, The Prettiest Girl in Cass County, and Longstocking Productions next undertaking, Raising Jo. Charlotte has studied playwriting with Brett C. Leonard and Lucy Thurber.
 
Naomi Kline Producer, Director A Moment of Silence for the Living, “Olive” The Title Sounded Better in French
Is a graduate of the New School film program and a co-founder of Longstocking Productions.
Since establishing herself as an actor on television and film, Naomi has moved her focus to directing.  Her short films include, G’hal, God & Fashion, and (for Longstocking Productions) Second Place = First Loser.
 
Martha Wollner Playwright He Said She Said
Martha is a writer, actor and proud member of the Labyrinth Theater Company. As an actress she was last seen in LAB's Barn Series in Knives and Other Sharp Objects by Raul Castillo at the Public Theater. A veteran casting director for documentary films, her work has been featured in award winning documentaries for over fifteen years, including the Academy Award nominated film Lalee's Kin: The Legacy of Cotton. She is thrilled to have her work be a part of Longstocking Production's first one act play festival, Little Monsters.
 
Taibi Magar Director The 11am Girl Says Goodnight
 Taibi most recently developed new plays with NYU's MFA Playwrights in their Festival of New Works. Other credits include: The Dime Show (Molly Brown, Women's Project & Productions), Rum & Vodka (Conor McPherson, Faux Real Theatre Company), Life Science (Anna Ziegler, Theatre Row), Torrents (Robert Attenweiler, Baracuda Theatre Club), Orson's Shadow (Austin Pendleton, Outrageous Fortune Company), W.A.C. Iraq (Mel Nieves, Urban Theater Festival), Polaroids (Theater 1050), HAMLET/machine (Blue Rose Theatre Company). She has assisted the director Gregory Boyd at the Alley Theatre (Houston, Texas) on Arsenic & Old Lace, Lieutenant of Inishmore. Also, with John Gould Rubin on My Wandering Boy (SPF 2007). Other companies she has worked with inlclude The Public Theater, LAByrinth, New York Theater Experiment and Ensemble Studio Theater. A graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts, Otterbein College, and Lincoln Center Director's Lab and a 2008 Drama League Fall Finalist. Mary Ellen Toomey “Wife” He Said She Said
Mary Ellen played the duo roles of Duke Senior and Duke Fredrick in the Hip to Hip Theatre Company’s all women’s production of As You Like It. She also appeared as the Finch’s neighbor, Miss Maudie in To Kill A Mockingbird with Westco Productions. Mary Ellen played Hecuba in Charles Mee’s Trojan Women 2.0 produced by The Milk Can Theater Company.  Additionally, Mary Ellen appeared as Tristyn in one of Nadine Bernard’s original productions of In The Shadow of My Son.   She has also been seen in Madame De Sade (Arthur Seelen Theatre), Valadon (Italian American Museum), Romeo and Juliet- Trial (La Mama E.T.C), Beyond the Ashes (The Hollywood Complex), Side Stream, August Snow (West Coast Ensemble), Side Stream, Agnes of God (Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop), Bus Stop and Life With Father (Forestburgh Playhouse).  Mary Ellen is a graduate of the William Esper Studio and SUNY Purchase.
 
Anna Fitzgerald Playwright The Title Sounded Better in French
Anna grew up in Baltimore but is now a clown and puppeteer in San Francisco after graduating from the Clown Conservatory in 2008. She is a company member of Lunatique Fantastique, performing live 3D animation right now in Executive Order 9066 in San Francisco. She was January in the 2009 Naked Clown Calendar and occasionally performs feats of hilarity with her clown partner Kelli. Anna spends the rest of her time trying to do back walkovers, teaching toddlers how to say funny words and barely paying rent. She is lucky to have a friend like Lola, who writes plays to support her jokes.
 
Anthony DeVito “Husband” He Said She Said
Anthony was "Brooklyn-based" when that was still considered an insult. He has been writing and performing original comedy for over 10 years, and has been on VH1's Best Week Ever, A&E's Biography and Discovery Channel. As an actor he's appeared on F/X's Rescue Me, Late Night With Conan O'Brien and the Manhattan Monologue Slam. He can also be seen in television commercials and in the upcoming independent feature Apostles of Park Slope. Awoye Timpo Director He Said She Said
New York directing credits include Rhinoceros, Lost in the Supermarket, Shakespeare’s Sonnets on Tap, The Vanished, Founding Fathers at the NY Historical Society, and numerous workshops and readings. Awoye recently completed a Van Lier Directing Fellowship at the Public Theater. Translations include Ionesco's The Bald Soprano and Rhinoceros as well as The Vanished and A Crying Friend by Olivier Coyette. Awoye is the Artistic Director of Novisi Productions, Co-Founder/Director of C3 Tap Co-operative and a member of the Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab and Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab.
 
Lola Pierson Playwright The Title Sounded Better in French
Lola lives in Baltimore where she was born and bred. She has a B.A. in Human Rights and Playwrighting from Bard College. She is an expert in mindcrafts and spends her days in Baltimore thinking about dogs, and overusing the word "man". Most recently her musical, The Prettiest Place on Earth, was produced at the LOFt in Baltimore.

Gabe McKinley Director The Fun Part
Gabe McKinley’s plays include The Kitchen Sink Play (Lake George Theater Lab), Love Sick (NY Fringe), Welcome Home Rock Rogers (NY Fringe), Funny (Fall 2009 Clip Light Theater) and Extinction (Fall 2009 Red Dog Squadron).  His play The Grave, was the winner of the 2008 Samuel French Short Play Festival.  Mr. McKinley is currently finishing up his studies in playwriting as part of The New School for Drama’s masters program.
 
Colette Herbstman Director The Title Sounded Better in French & Writer/Director Breaking Up With My Mother
Colette is thrilled to be included in Longstocking's first festival. Breaking Up With My Mother
was first produced at the Nagelberg theater as part of the Strawberry One-Act Festival this past summer. Colette studied creative writing at SFSU. Her play "Martin, Are You Mad At Me? was selected as part of the Emerging Artist's one-act festival in 2007 & her play "Rodwart" was selected as a finalist in the Best of The Fest Strawberry Festival in 2008. Colette is a teaching assistant at Primary Stages & looks forward to lots more great work with the ladies of Longstocking!
 
Bill Campbell Animation New York Breakfast
Bill grew up in Falls Church, VA and now lives in Brooklyn, NY.  When he is not busy making cartoons or studying ping pong, he spends his time as a professional drummer.  He is a performer and studio musician as well as member of several bands including his own band, BREASTFIST.  He also composes film music and teaches private drum lessons.  As an actor he has appeared in several films and shorts including Longstocking's own Second Place=First Loser.  Bill is excited to have New York Breakfast premiered at the Little Monsters Festival so he can see that shit on a big ass screen.  
 
Erik Gratton “Ricky” The 11am Girl Says Goodnight
Erik has performed in 5 countries and throughout the US. His roles include 5 years of rotating repertory companies--he's especially proud of the day he played Wilbur the Pig in the afternoon followed by Hamlet that same evening. Favorites in New York include productions of AS YOU LIKE IT (Rosalind), DON JUAN IN CHICAGO (Leporello), SCAPIN (Sylvestre), CYMBELINE (Cloten), and THE DEVIL AND TOM WALKER (Tom Walker). Elsewhere, Erik's proud to have played Benedick in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, David O. Selznick in MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS, and Jack Keegan in WHIFFLEBALL: THE MOVIE.
 
Bobby Roe Animation Pasta Sauce For Cats
Bobby Roe was born in a muddy puddle outside of an Ann Arbor based Pizzeria. He came of age in the 1970's, playing with action figures and hot wheels on a nearby hill, shoplifting candy and snacks for sustenance. The youngest son of American Opera singer and money finder Charles Roe, Bobby's artistic endeavors were encouraged mainly through shouting. Bobby graduated from the School of Visual Arts, where he created the locally renowned short animation, Pasta Sauce for Cats. Bobby loves laptops, snacks and Aikido. He hopes one day to visit the Moon.
 
 
 
Max Woertendyke “Walter” A Moment of Silence for the Living,
Stage credits include one-man show Wild Abandon (Center Stage, NY), No Man Can Serve Two Masters (Times Square Art's Center), Girl (Cherry Lane), Momma? (P.S. 122), Kill My Big Mess (Vampire Cowboy's Battle Ranch).  Film and television: Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, The Understudy, How to Kill Your Girlfriend's Cat, “Guiding Light.”  Max is also the founding director of backyart, a multi-disciplinary arts event based in Brooklyn, now in its second season.  He will next be seen on stage as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire going up at Columbia Stages, NYC at the end of April.

Michael Puzzo Playwright The 11am Girl Says Goodnight
Michael is a writer and actor living in NYC. He has been a proud member of LAByrinth Theater Company since 1997.  As a playwright his plays GUARENTEED SECOND BASE, SHE TALKS TO RAINBOWS  and LYRIC IS WAITING have all been part of LAByrinth’s annual Barn Series Festival at The Public Theater.  His comedy THE DIRTY TALK (Fringe NYC & Centerstage NY) is published by Dramatist Play Service and was nominated for an Innovative Theater Award for best script in 2007. As an actor Michael recently appeared in the LAByrinth productions; PHILIP ROTH IN KHARTOUM by David Bar Katz  and PENALTIES AND INTEREST by Rebecca Cohen, both directed by John Gould Rubin (Public Theater) and the film DOUBT written & directed by John Patrick Shanley.

Jes graduated from Albright College in Pennsylvania in May, and after an internship at Williamstown Theatre Festival, she decided to move to the city.
